The Humantay Lagoon tour takes place in the majestic Andes of southern Peru, near Cusco, at high altitude surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains. This full-day adventure combines scenic travel with a rewarding mountain hike through breathtaking landscapes. DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

CUSCO – MOLLEPATA

The tour begins with early hotel pickup in Cusco. The tourist transport heads northwest toward Mollepata, following the scenic Andean highway. During the drive, the guide accompanies the group, providing orientation and important information about the route. Upon arrival in Mollepata, the scheduled stop is made according to the program. After completing this stage, the group boards the vehicle again to continue toward the starting point of the hiking route included in the tour.

The mobility continues ascending toward Soraypampa. Upon arrival, the guide organizes the group and begins the established hiking route from Soraypampa. The vehicle remains parked in the designated area while the guided walk takes place. After completing the hiking circuit and returning to Soraypampa, the group regroups at the transport to prepare for the descent along the same road toward the next stop included in the itinerary.

From Soraypampa, the guide leads the group along the marked trail toward Humantay Lake. The explanation is provided during the guided visit at the lagoon area. After completing the visit and returning to Soraypampa, the group boards the transport again to begin the return journey along the same route used earlier in the day.

After completing the visit to Humantay Lake and descending to Soraypampa, the tourist transport returns via Mollepata and continues toward Cusco. The guide accompanies the group during the drive back. Upon arrival in Cusco, passengers are dropped off in the city center, officially concluding the full-day Humantay Lagoon tour experience.
