This full-day tour begins in Cusco. We will take you up from your Cusco hotel at 7:00 a.m. Following that, we will go to Checacupe town, where we will stop for a light breakfast. Then we will proceed to the Palccoyo trailhead, which is located near Checacupe.
We will have to hike for approximately an hour before getting at Palccoyo. There are several Andean farms along the road. On a clear day, you may view the majestic Ausangate peak, the tallest mountain in the Cusco region.
Once we get to Palccoyo, you will have free time to enjoy the natural beauty of the place. After spending some time near the peak, we will hike back to the trailhead. Then, we will drive back to Checacupe.
After having lunch at Checacupe, we will return to Cusco city, where we will be arriving approximately 5:30 p.m.
