Our trip begins at 4:30 a.m. when we pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco. Following that, we will board our private car and head to Cusipata town. We will have a light breakfast there before beginning our short trip to Vinicunca.
We will be walking through the Red Valley, which is known for its many reddish slopes and hills. The distinctive hues of the area’s mountains are the consequence of mineral buildup over millions of years.
We will arrive at Vinicunca after around 2 hours of trekking. You will have time to take in the breathtaking natural environment that surrounds this location. Our tour guide will also explain to you the cultural significance that Vinicunca has for the locals.
After spending some time around Vinicunca, we will walk back to Cusipata town. After arriving there, you will have a traditional Andean lunch. After lunch, we will board our private car and return to Cusco city, where we will be arriving approximately at 6:00 p.m.
