DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
CUSCO – TINKI – PACCHANTA
Departure from Cusco early in the morning. The tourist transportation heads southeast along the Cusco–Urcos highway, passing through Andahuaylillas and Huaro before reaching Urcos. The journey continues toward Ocongate and then to Tinki, crossing high Andean landscapes and traditional rural communities. From Tinki, the route advances to Pacchanta, the main access point to the lagoon circuit. Throughout the drive, the guide accompanies the group, providing orientation and coordinating the beginning of the hiking route.
PACCHANTA – ANDEAN TRAILS – SEVEN LAGOONS CIRCUIT
From Pacchanta, the guided hike begins along marked Andean trails that connect the Seven Lagoons circuit. The path crosses wide plains surrounded by snow-capped peaks and high-altitude landscapes. The guide leads the group through the established walking route, indicating the sequence of lagoons visited along the circuit. The trail follows natural viewpoints and open terrain, allowing a continuous route between each lagoon sector while maintaining a steady pace throughout the experience.
SEVEN LAGOONS – PACCHANTA
After completing the circuit of the Seven Lagoons of Ausangate, the group returns along the same trail toward Pacchanta. The guide accompanies the descent, ensuring the group follows the established route between the lagoons and back to the main access point. Upon arrival in Pacchanta, the group regathers at the designated meeting area where the transportation is waiting to begin the return journey.
PACCHANTA – TINKI – URCOS – CUSCO
The return trip begins from Pacchanta, descending toward Tinki and continuing along the highway toward Urcos. The route passes again through the Andean corridor and rural villages before reconnecting with the main road leading back to Cusco. The guide remains with the group during the drive, concluding the Seven Lagoons full-day tour upon arrival in the city.
